FINDERS KEEPERS WRAP UP

Initial stall layout, this got changed around a bit on the Sunday
so that there were more sterling silver earrings and necklaces on
display. The little trays at the front worked a treat in keeping all
my acrylic pieces nice, neat and ordered (my dad made them for
me - so great having a dad who is good with those things).
I got some of my acrylic designs super sized as a backdrop at my
stall. They look huge compared to the brooches and earrings, but
work as a really effective way to hang earrings and tie the stall
layout together. They also make me laugh.
One of the cool new things that was on display this weekend
was t-shirts and singlets featuring one of my designs (the yeti
and swiss cheese). These shirts and singlets are the first design
by the new and exciting Brisbane brand BLNK. Shirts will be
available for purchase through my Etsy store in the coming
weeks, and will also be on sale at the upcoming BrisStyle
Twilight markets in August.
What a weekend it's been. After many late nights and broken saw blades, the Brisbane Finders Keepers markets finally arrived. This was my first Finders Keepers markets and I was lucky enough to start out with market veteran Holly from Pannikin by my side. The atmosphere at the Finders Keepers is always brilliant, and this time was no different. I loved being able to experience the markets on the other side of the table for once. I got to meet so many awesome designers and creators and be inspired by their individual style and approach to their craft. I also was thrilled to meet the many faces behind Etsy purchases. Over the coming weeks I will be photographing and listing the new designs that I had for sale at the markets, as well as running some specials through my Facebook page. So make sure you have 'liked' it to be up to date with whats new and to grab some bargains.
