I was so excited that I finally listed some of my new designs on Etsy!
Some of these designs are reminders of my annual Christmas holiday trip to Tin Can Bay.
We get to see so many gorgeous aquatic animals in their natural habitat when we are up there. Often spotting them from our tinny, or from the boat ramp while we wait to venture into the water. Last year we saw a Dugong, that inspired the new Dugong necklace. This piece reminds me of all the time I have spent looking out for another one while fishing. Their noses also make me laugh. But we did spot a turtle (2 actually), and used our boat anchor a lot.
Some of the other designs were animals that bring a smile to my face, or objects which I think would work well when fabricated in sterling silver (take the ninja star for instance).
Every piece I make has a story attached to it, a reason behind how and when I came up for the idea to take a fleeting thought into a new piece of quirky jewellery.
